Write, Memory

Everyone should write down, as best they can, before they die, what they think they were like. Then their children would get an entirely different idea of who they were. —Dame Beryl Bainbridge

Write, Memory is a three-part kit for reflecting on, writing, and printing your life story.

The first part, the Write, Memory workbook, is part questionnaire, part workshop, part memory tool.

Write, Memory’s 270-page chronological series of questions takes the reader  through a process of remembering, evaluating, pattern recognition, and the selection and arrangement of stories. There is plenty of room for taking notes, making lists, and generally preparing (mentally and physically) to write and complete a memoir or autobiography.

Write, Memory includes dozens of provoking, reassuring, and hilarious quotes about life by famous personalities.

The How To section at the back of the book contains instructions for obtaining the Write, Memory CD or the free file download, which is the second part of the kit. The reader now becomes the writer by completing the series of fill-in-the-blank, customizable chapters.

Further instructions include how to add photos and sidebars to the printed book, options for covers and interior design, and how to package documents for printing.

Write, Memory is great product for those who have always wanted to write an autobiography or memoir, and haven’t known where to start. It can also be a lifesaver for those who have started an autobiography or memoir and have gotten stuck with too much material, too many choices, too little time.

Write, Memory contains discussions and tips on:

interviewing a friend or relative
how to title a book
how to title chapter
storytelling
first lines
and how not to please everyone

Send me an email and I'll send you the Word files you need to start writing your book. No cost.
